Making Room for Baby
Are you a family expecting baby number 2, or 3, or 4….. You may want
to consider taking a class for your older
child(ren) to start becoming acclimated to having a new baby sibling
in the house. There are no age restrictions on siblings but the
ideal age for attendance is 2 years to 8 years.
The information presented and activities done will be aimed at
siblings but with plenty of information and suggestions for parents,
too. Snacks and craft included.
Breastfeeding
Your Baby
Just as childbirth classes prepare expectant parents for labor and
delivery, breastfeeding classes prepare parents for the early days
of breastfeeding.
Returning to Work
This
class helps parents fit breastfeeding into today's busy lifestyle,
at home, school or work. Includes
discussion of feeding options, techniques, equipment for pumping,
storage and handling of breastmilk.
